A note from the webmaster:
Sermons by the Reverend Fields are recorded from the pews during service. Some minor audio editing is performed to minimize noise, boost amplification and equalize the sound. In other words, we try to make it sound as good as it can given the recording is being done from an iPhone!
During the service, Reverend Fields generally prefaces the bible reading with an exegesis – a brief explanation of the biblical text about to be read with additional helpful background and context. The audio on this website attempts to capture the church experience to its fullest by including all three pieces related to Rev. Fields' sermon: the exegesis, the reading and the sermon. We have not broken up the three pieces, but have chosen to leave only the natural breaks that occur between them as Reverend Fields moves from one part to the other during the service.
Finally, and very importantly, the audio presented here cannot include all the footnotes and reference texts used by Reverend Fields in writing each sermon. References used are available upon request.
