Waquoit Minister Named Falmouth Citizen of the Year
Rev. Nell Fields, minister of the Waquoit Congregational Church, has been named Falmouth Citizen of the Year for 2023 by the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. A dinner to honor Rev. Fields will be held Thursday, May 25, at the Sea Crest Resort in North Falmouth. The event starts at 5 pm, and is sponsored by Cape Cod 5.
The Board of Directors of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce determined that Rev. Fields’ dedication to Falmouth and its community makes her the outstanding choice for Citizen of the Year. “It is a sincere privilege for us to honor Nell as our 2023 Citizen of the Year,” said Falmouth Chamber President Michael Kasparian. “Although she is well known for her work as the minister of the Waquoit Congregational Church, it was Nell’s additional work in the community that made her the standout candidate this year.”
