Julie Silver and Sue Horowitz in Concert Sunday, Oct. 11 at 4 pm
The Waquoit Congregational Church and the Falmouth Jewish Congreation offer an afternoon of soul-stirring music on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 4 pm in the Waquoit sanctuary.
Two beloved voices in Jewish and folk music, Julie Silver and Sue Horowitz, headline the concert of songs and spirit. The concert is free and open to all.
Silver, one of our most celebrated contemporary Jewish singer-songwriters, brings her rich voice and timeless melodies that have touched hearts across generations. With her warm vocals and heartfelt storytelling, Horowitz blends Americana and spiritual Jewish themes into songs that uplift and inspire. Together, these award-winning songwriters offer a tapestry of music that celebrates the joy of sacred connection.
“We are excited to work with our friends at the Jewish congreation to host Julie and Sue, two incredible musicians,” said The Rev. Nell Fields, minister of the Waquoit Church. “It’s going to be a wonderful afternoon of community, connection, and really good music.”
The Waquoit Church is located at 15 parsons Lane at the corner of Route 28, in E. Falmouth. For more information, contact the church at 508-548-5269.
